This Privacy Policy explains how DemoDub ("Service"), operated by mTargets Maciej Grabek ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: email address, display name, and password (or Google OAuth credentials).

Content you create: scripts, scene narrations, recordings (video files), and generated TTS audio.

Usage data: basic server logs including IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for security and debugging purposes.

We do not collect analytics, behavioral data, or tracking information beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Providing the Service — storing your scripts and recordings, generating TTS audio, assembling videos
• Authentication — verifying your identity and managing your account
• Service communications — account-related emails (no marketing without consent)
• Security — protecting the Service and detecting abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with third-party providers solely to deliver the Service:

• OpenAI — your scene narration text is sent to generate voiceover audio. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — your script input text is sent for AI-assisted formatting. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Google — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name. See Google Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for files and media
• Hashed passwords (bcrypt)
• Access controls and regular security reviews

6. Data Retention

Your content is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete a recording or script, it is removed from our storage. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

9. Chrome Extension

The DemoDub Automation Chrome extension communicates with our server via WebSocket to automate browser actions during recording. The extension does not collect browsing data, does not access pages other than the target tab you select, and does not transmit any data beyond the action commands required for automation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect.
